  • Rocetta: Updating Deployed Databases

At Rocetta, we want to make it easy scale your infrastructure with your business. If you have previously deployed a database with Rocetta, you may need to increase its storage size to keep up with a growing user base or increasing loads of data.
Rocetta can help you make this modification without the need to re-provision your database. Here’s how!

    Updating Databases

The process for updating databases is the same for all databases (AWS/GCP, MySQL or Postgres).
    1. Go to the Databases page in the Rocetta console.
    1. Click on the three dots next to the database you want to modify.
    1. Click Upgrade Database
    1. This will display a pop-up modal. You can now change the database name or size. Once you have made your desired modifications, click Upgrade.
That’s it! Once Rocetta updates your database deployment (which takes a few minutes), you’ll be ready to go.
